Works on the Metronet project required the lowering of existing cables adjacent to an active rail track.
The live cable had to be protected, with the size of the excavation to be kept to a minimum due to other existing underground services.
Using the DryVac vacuum excavator, we delivered a precision excavation while keeping existing services safe and undisturbed. Keeping the excavated material dry allowed us to use it as backfill.
